We use it to burn weeds. The torch works like they say it will.
It didnt work as well as I expected but it works well enough to keep and use. The item was as advertised.
After a couple of trys, I learned how to keep it going and vary the flame. Propane 'Turbo Torch' - 3 Nozzles - Turbo-Blast Trigger - 60" HoseI am delighted with the "Turbo Torch." I use it only for cremating weeds that grow in my gravel paths and will probably use it to light the charcoal grill. And the price is fabulous. For me, the smallest nozzle is adequate; however the choice of three makes it totally versitle. Although there were no instructions, as many others have noted, it was simple to operate. [Perhaps the seller should write a brief instruction note and include it in the shipment].
This may be better for melting snow, etc. Pay the extra amount to get one with an auto-lighter and some instructions, and a fitting that will accept smaller propane cylinders. There should be directions with this.
This item was competitively priced and arrived promptly from etoolscity, well packed. The connection will only work with larger refillable propane tanks, like those that come with barbeque grills, which are not very portable. Needed a torch to kill weeds.
After playing with this for a few minutes and trying all the three nozzles, I was unable to keep the torch lit for more than a few seconds. if you can keep it lit but I cannot recommend for spot control of weeds around the average home. As other reviewers have noted, there are absolutely no instructions.
It is was not difficult to hook to my propane tank, but no instructions on lighting or adjusting the valve.
Not knowing how to control the flame created some scary moments. It has two valves for propane control, but no idea which one is for what. Send instructions, please. Ordered the subject weed burner. Received it on time but with absolutely no instructions for use.
